Reggie Wong Memorial Park is Boston Chinatown's only outdoor sports recreational space. It is formerly known as Pagoda Park which was built in the mid to late 1970's.
On August 12, 2012, Mayor Menino renamed the park in Reggie Wong's Memory. The park was built in support of Chinatown's 9-Man volleyball community providing a place for this sport to endure.
In 2016, The Mass DOT and Baker administration made plans to redevelop the area that includes the park to rid the state of "unused" land. The local community activated to ensure that, if sold, Chinatown would have a park for its residence to use whether it be at its current location or somewhere in close proximity to Chinatown.
In 2026, The park is scheduled to be renovated by the FRWP, to provide a safer and greater experience to the community.
